Eyebrow Tattoo Aftercare

Just After Your Appointment

  • No coffee or alcohol for the first few hours after your appointment

  • Your brows may change shape due to swelling

  • After 2 hours, take off the balm with a tissue, ensuring to get it all off. Some colour may come off but don’t be alarmed!

  • Keep them completely dry with no product for the next 48 hours

Until Scabs Have Come Off

  • After 48 hours, apply a small (grain of rice) amount of the balm daily and leave it on. Less is more!

  • Don’t apply the aftercare balm straight after the shower, wait at least 20min for the skin to dry out

  • Keep your brows completely dry

  • No exercise - even if you don’t sweat you skin gets hot & expands which pushes the pigment out!

  • No sweating - saunas, hot showers, keep cool

  • Do not pull at the scabs

  • Don’t apply makeup to the brow area

  • No direct sun (or wear a hat)

  • Trust the process! At times they will look too dark, too light or uneven but try not to stress

After The Scabs Come Off

  • Your brows be light until the colour comes back, so allow 3 weeks for the true colour to show through

  • Keep your skincare with active ingredients in it away from your brows as it will fade them faster

  • Direct sunlight will also fade them faster so its recommended that you apply sunscreen on the area

  • Book your touch up between 5 and 8 weeks from your initial appointment. Any questions or concerns can be addressed at this appointment.
